Organization

The Lancaster County Public Safety Training Center (LCPSTC) opened in 2006 as a joint venture between the County of Lancaster, Lancaster County Career and Technology Center and the Lancaster County Fireman's Association.

These organizations formed the partnership in order to provide premier public safety training for all emergency service organizations. The Lancaster County Public Safety Training Center also serves as the county's Multi-Agency Coordination Center (MACC) in the event of a major disaster.

The Center offers a wide variety of training programs for police, fire, healthcare and emergency-service personnel as well as response and safety training for private industry and other organizations. Emergency workers and students receive state-of-the-art training at the Center's rifle-range building, burn tower, drill tower, control tower, pavilion, smoke building and administrative building.

The Results

An exceptional, integrated communications platform that supports the rapid response emergency command center – linking all Federal, State, and Local government agencies.

"When the county government designated our facility to be an emergency MACC (Multi Agency Coordination Center), it was imperative that our voice and data systems be reliable and have a clear redundancy plan. ECOMM listened, learned about our unique requirements and designed a custom communication solution. The ongoing support and protection under our ECOMM Gold Seal maintenance plan keeps us constantly ready to respond to any emergency. " Craig Elmer, Director
